Lice On Household Objects

If you have identified head lice or lice eggs in your child's hair you will need to clean the house well. Any items that cannot be cleaned using a vacuum or washing machine can be bagged for 2 days. Any stray lice found on these items will die because they cannot live without a bloodmeal. Be sure to vacuum carpets and couches, clean all furniture and wash any clothing that your child may have come in contact with in the past week.
